We look forward to working with you this summer. The information on this page is for your benefit in applying and preparing for our summer camp in Mandeville, LA.

To apply for a staff position, click the APPLY button below. If approved, you will receive an email from the camp office with a link to our secure credit card payment gateway.

All fees MUST BE PAID ONLINE. PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED at camp or at the bus pick up locations.

NOTE: Only adults 18 years and above should apply through this page. (All teenagers 17 years and below will have the opportunity to apply for a staff position during the camper registration process.)

REGISTRATION FEE

All staff positions must be approved by the Camp Director prior to making payment. If you are approved for a staff position, you will receive an email from the camp office with a link to the payment page where you will be able to pay by credit card through a secure connection either the $25 staff or $35 staff and bus transportation fee.

COST FOR BUS TRANSPORTATION

We provide bus transportation from Baton Rouge and Lafayette to YES Camp. The bus transportation to and from camp is $10 in addition to the registration fee.

Teen Camp: Wednesday, July 3—Saturday, July 6

Pre-Teen Camp: Saturday, July 6—Wednesday, July 10

Registration Opens: May 1, 2019

Registration Deadline: June 24, 2019

PACKING LIST

GENERAL ITEMS

  • Bible App on Phone
  • Sleeping Bag or Cover
  • 1 Pillow and Pillowcase
  • Towels (lightweight so they dry quickly)
  • Washcloths
  • Sunscreen
  • Toothbrush and Toothpaste
  • Comb or Brush
  • Soap and Shampoo
  • Plastic Bag or Laundry Bag (for dirty clothes)
  • Plastic Bag (to keep wet clothes in at the dorm)
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Bug Repellent (Suggest "Off" or "Skin So Soft")
  • Water Shoes with Rubber Soles
  • Alarm Clock
  • Flash Light

SPECIAL NOTES

Please bring enough clothing to last for the entire time you are at camp. There are no laundry facilities on-site. You will be provided with camp shirts during pre-teen camp ONLY.

SPECIAL CLOTHING NEEDED

There will be a semi-formal banquet and dance on the last day during teen camp. Men should wear dress pants (no shorts or jeans) and a nice shirt (no t-shirts). Ladies may wear a semi-formal dress or nice evening wear.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES

FOR TEEN CAMP

Staff, please arrive on the first day of camp at 4 p.m. to help set up for teen camp. Staff attending Teen Camp may bring YES pre-teen campers if you are their ONLY transportation. We will have organized activities for them.

FOR PRE-TEEN CAMP

Counselors, Assistant Counselor and selected staff must arrive two days prior to the beginning of pre-teen camp at 6 p.m. (supper provided). All other staff may arrive on the first day of pre-teen camp, at 5 p.m. (supper provided). Staff attending Teen Camp may bring YES pre-teen campers if you are their ONLY transportation. We will have organized activities for them.
